Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt

October 31, 2020 2pm - 4pm

West Woods Neighborhoods

Following CDC guidelines, this year we will host a one-way trick-or-treating scavenger hunt to have a socially distant Halloween celebration!

Winners announced!

  • The winner of the costume contest is Sunaina S. in Mrs. Curcio's Kindergarten class who dressed up as the Queen of the Mermaids.

  • The winner of the decorated yard contest belongs to Haylee J. in Mrs. King's 3rd grade class and Penelopee J. in Mrs. Curcio's Kindergarten class with the dragon family.

  • The winner of the "Guess How Many Items in the Jar" contest is Julianna B. in Ms. Blake's 2nd grade class with a guess of 67 pieces for being the closest guess without going over. The total number in the jar was 71.

  • Congratulations to all of our winners!

Drive the Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt Trail

  • Before you leave your house, print out one Scavenger Hunt bingo card per child in your car to bring on your drive.

  • Pick a starting point on the map and drive around to fill up your bingo card.

  • Please register online by Thursday, October 23 so we can be prepared for everyone. All West Woods students are welcome to drive through our Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt Trail.

  • Keep your eyes open for a spot where you can make a guess to win a prize. To enter your guess, visit wwpta.rocks/guess.

  • Take pictures and share them with programs@westwoodspta.org or the West Woods PTA Community Facebook Group.

Scavenger Hunt Spots

  • If you are a spot on our map, please take a picture of your decorated yard and send it to programs@westwoodspta.org by midnight on November 1 to enter the contest.

Goodie Bags from the PTA at West Woods School

  • Once your Bingo card is full, drive over to West Woods School to pick up a goodie bag of treats. Please respect social distancing and wait in your car for a bag to be brought to you.

  • You will also be able to join the PTA at this stop as well, if you'd prefer not to join online.

Costume Contest

  • Send a picture of your child in costume to programs@westwoodspta.org by midnight on November 1.

  • Winners of the costume contest will be announced on the following Monday right here!

Donations welcome!

  • We are happy to accept donations of nut-free candy & small treats for the PTA goodie bags. Please send your donations to school with your child where they can drop off donations in the bin outside the main office.
